Early Adopters

When we started OpenKnowledge in 2006 our aim was simply to test the hypothesis that peer to peer knowledge sharing supported by formal models of interaction was possible (at that time it was not clear whether it was possible at all and, even if it was, whether it was practical). Fortunately, it does appear to be practical for problems that are of broad interest and we are now seeing OpenKnowledge methods and techniques appearing in a wide range of applied systems.
